Meridian Holdings runs manufacturing and distribution across 40 countries, coordinating freight through more than 200 third-party vendors and a patchwork of regional systems that had never been designed to talk to each other. Leadership could not answer a simple question — where is a given shipment right now — without a call to three different regional offices.
The Challenge
Freight visibility depended on 200+ vendors reporting status through spreadsheets, EDI feeds, and regional portals with no shared schema, so shipment data was often days out of date and impossible to reconcile globally.
